Sweet potato sammies with chocolate spread

You don’t need bread to make a delicious sandwich!

Ingredients:

  • 1 sweet potato
  • 150g chickpeas
  • 50g dates, soaked in warm water if needed
  • 3 tbsp cocoa powder or melted chocolate
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • pinch of salt
  • 50 ml almond milk

Method:
Wash and dry sweet potato. Slice it in 2 cm pieces and place on baking pan covered with parchment paper. Bake in 200 C for about 20 min until soft and slightly brown.

Prepare the spread by blending chickpeas, dates, cocoa powder, cinnamon and salt. Adding milk to reach desired consistency.
