Crispy aquafaba french toasts!
Ingredients:
- 1/3 cup aquafaba
- 1/3 plant milk
- pinch of salt
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- few pieces of bread (doesn’t have to be fresh)
- vegan butter or oil for frying
Method:
Whisk the aquafaba together with plant milk of choice. If you are up for a flavored french toasts you can use coconut or hazelnut milk. Add cinnamon and pinch of salt. Soak the bread in the battering for a moment while heating up the pan with butter or oil. Fry the toasts on medium heat until slightly brown.
I love my toasts with maple syrup and side of fruits.
