Matcha millet porridge

It’s a great alternative to a standard oatmeal.


  • 100g cooked millet
  • 50 ml almond milk
  • 1/2 banana
  • 1 tsp ground flax seeds
  • 1 tsp matcha powder
  • pinch of salt
  • chopped nuts


Combine all ingredients in a pan and cook on low heat. I use already cooked millet as i always cook more and keep in the fridge.
Once you reach desired consistency, transfer to the serving bowl and decorate with fruits such as strawberries and sprinkle with shredded coconut and almonds.
