Protein breakfast bowl with caramelized pear

Breakfast oatmeal alternative for or all of you counting those carbs! High protein, low carbs breakfast bowl with caramelized pear and toasted hazelnuts.

Ingredients:

  • 20 g chia seeds
  • 20 g hemp seeds
  • 20 g protein powder – Nutty Nutty Peanut Protein Powder
  • 250 ml hemp milk
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup (optional)

Method:

Mix all ingredients together in a bowl and refrigerate overnight. On the next day toast the hazelnut on a dry pan. Set aside. Add half of the pear to a pan and splash a bit of water. Let it fry a bit, then add 1 tbsp maple syrup and let it caramelize. Add on top of your breakfast mix and sprinkle with toasted hazenuts and cocoa nibs.
