Classic apple pie is always in style. Especially during autumn but actually all year long!
- 170 g flour
- 115 g cold vegan butter
- 60 g sugar
- 2 tbsp cold water
- 4 apples
- 50 g dates
Combine flour, butter, sugar and water in food processor or quickly using your hands. It’s important not to kneel the dough for a long time to not make the crust hard. Once combined put it to a fridge for 30 min.
Peel and cut the apples into slices. Chop the dates and combine with apples and cinnamon.
Take the dough, cut in half and roll in gently. Place one piece at the bottom of greased pan, add the apples and cover with second part of dough. Make few cuts on top.
Bake for 30-40 minutes until golden in 190 C.
Cool down and sprinkle with icing sugar. Serve with vanilla ice cream.
