
Isn’t the best to have breakfast which is also a dessert? I love to have chocolate oatmeal but why not add some more chocolate goodies like Oreo cookies?
Ingredients:
- 50 g oats
- hot water
- 150 ml milk of choice
- 1/2 banana
- 1 tbsp chocolate protein powder
- 1 tsp cacao powder or few pieces of dark chocolate
- 1 tsp chia seeds
- 1 tsp ground flax seed
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- pinch of salt
- dark chocolate or chocolate chips to top up
- few oreo cookies
Method:
Simply combine oats and chia seeds with hot water (the amount just to cover it). Let the oats soak the water. Add milk, chopped banana, chocolate protein powder, cocoa powder or chocolate, flax seeds, cinnamon and pinch of salt. Cook on low heat for few minutes. Add few crushed oreo cookies and stir. Transfer to a serving bowl and top up with more cookies, chocolate pieces and favorite fruits. I find strawberries or raspberries to fit the best with chocolate!
