I’ve made these green waffles for St Patrick’s breakfast celebration. Every reason is worth to add extra portion of greens to your food!
- 2 and 1/2 oats
- 1/4 cup ground flax seeds
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 2 tsp matcha powder
- 1 tsp maca powder
- pinch of salt
- 1 and 1/2 cup almond milk
- 1 banana
- 1 cup of spinach
Blend the oats to a flour and mix with flax seeds, cinnamon, salt, matcha and maca powder. Next blend the milk, banana and spinach together. Combine with dry ingredients.
Preheat the waffle maker, pour the batter and cook as per your waffle maker directions.
Serve your waffles warm with maple syrup and slices of fruits.
