
Creamy smoothie made with cooked millet. Another great way to use this versatile grain.
Ingredients:
- 100g cooked millet
- 1 frozen banana
- few pieces of frozen zucchini
- few dates
- 1 espresso
- 1 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp maca powder (optional)
- 50-100 ml almond milk
Method:
Blend all ingredients together until smooth. Add as much almond milk (or any plant milk) as you want the consistency to be. Pour to a serving bowl and top up with favorite toppings. I had this smoothie sprinkled with cocoa nibs, toasted almonds and pomegranate.
